How honored we were to be asked to participate in this film. This film was produced as part of the Blue Ridge Parkway's exhibit museum.. focusing on the Blue Ridge Mountains and traditions. You can watch this and many other displays at the Blue Ridge Music Center on the parkway, and at the Heartwood Museum in Abingdon Va. 
About Adam McPeak & Mountain Thunder
Adam McPeak, son Mike McPeak of the legendary McPeak Brothers, started his band at the age of 13..his dad was helpful in working with the kids to develope skills and learn material and ended up staying with the band as a full time member!!! The band has been very successful in their  career so far. winning many first place adult competitions, as well as individual successes!!
We look forward to playing at your event..None too big or too small!!!!

Hi, my name is Adam McPeak. I am the son of Mike McPeak and Debbie Frye. I started playing the mandolin when i was about 10. I started my music career playing and making appearances in my dad's band, the Mcpeak Brothers. At the age of 13 I started my own band and hired my dad to play with me. My mom, while having no musical skills stays involved by booking shows, keeing up the website and all the photography and videos. Join me facebook at Adam McPeak, and my band page, Adam McPeak & Mountain 'Thunder. I enjoy hunting and fishing. I am also taking an apprenticeship under Buddy Blevins making instruments. My first instrument was a fiddle, that i finished this year.
Hi, my name is David Chrisley, I am the son of Mary and Steve Chrisley. I started playing. bass when i was about 9 years old.. I started out playing with my dad at fiddlers conventions, jams and church. I play regularly at the Smyth County Jam with many musicians. I enjoy four wheeling, hunting and helping out on the farm.
Hi, my name is Marlon Dean. I am the son of Patti Rickman of Peach Bottom Farms Fiddle and Strings Camp. I started playing fiddle at the age of 6. Before I joined AMMT, I played in a local old time band and with the Jr Appalachain Musicians. I am originally from Colorado. I also teach fiddle at the camp, and help my mom run the farm. I enjoy soccer and hanging out with friends.
Hi, my name is Lindsey Jackson... I am the daughter of Stan and Sherry Jackson, of Stan's Pallet Company. I began my singing career around the age of 7. I competed in local fiddlers conventions, and did some local appearaces. I enjoy hanging out with family and friends and riding horses. Lindsey is a junior fire fighter on the Ivanhoe Volenteer Fire Dept. and a junior EMT on the Lead Mines Rescue Squad.
Hi, my name is Mike McPeak. I am one of the McPeak Brothers from Wytheville Va. during my career with the brothers i was very honored to share stages with some of bluegrass finest. I am honored to now share the stage with my son, and be a part of his  career. 
Hi, my name is Steve Chrisley. I am from Max Meadows, Va. I have played music most of my life. My Brothers and I had a band called The Chrisley Brothers. I enjoy building banjos, farming and hunting. David now plays a banjo i recently made for him.
